The Public and Administrative Law department is headed by the lawyer Lluís Martí, who has vast knowledge and professional experience environmental wise, from different activities subject to Environmental Intervention to others like Water Cases, Garbage Disposal Management, Natural Areas and the Atmosphere, Urban Planning, Forced Expropriation, Sanctions, the Local Government Regulatory Law, Public Functioning and specifically, Administrative and Dispute Resolution Processes to judicially represent and defence in every aspect that has run out of administrative ways to approach it, as the more outstanding areas in the branch of Administrative Law.
Having evidenced professional experience in negotiating and solving conflicts created among the local, autonomic and state public governmental administrations, he is also on leave as an official worker in the Public Administration at the Generalitat de Catalunya, where he worked from 1993 to 2008, doing the following tasks: Legal advisor in the Environment’s department, Head of Local Legal Assistance in the Governable and Public Administration’s Department, Secretary of the Forced Expropriation Jury and Lawyer of the Legal Committee at the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Estudios a Distancia (UNED) in Law’s Bachelor Degree, he proceeded on getting his Law Master’s Degree in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He has got a post-grade diploma in property rights and urban planning regulations from the Universitat Pompeu i Fabra (UPF) and in Advanced Studies in the PhD Program of Law Assessment instruments from the Universitat de Girona (UdG).
Since 1998, he has been a teacher in the Public Administration School of Catalonia, an internal trainer in the Administrative Law Area, as well as an associated professor from the Administrative Law area in the Universitat de Girona since 2005. He has taken part as a professor in subjects from several Pre-graduated and Post-graduated Degrees, and in different Conferences and Workshops environment and urbanism related. All of these not only in the university context but also in the Public Administration one.
